The KRP Extra Sound is the world’s first drop forged plate that has the hind shoe in a left and right pattern. It has been designed using anatomical and biomechanical principles in many of Kerckhaert hind shoes.
The outside branch is a little longer than the inside branch and the outside branch is wider from the quarterback. This gives the foot more cover and support, while the bevelled inside decreased the risk of brushing.
The painted sole relief reduces pressure to the sole while the horse is in a gallop.
It is made from a unique swooped concave section which allows better grip as the foot cuts into the surface.
The plate has a radius toe clip.
