The Jim Blurton hunter fuller features a narrow curved blade that is ideal for fullering thicker materials, 10 and 12mm. The head of the fuller is large and ideal for using with a striker. The blade is positioned under the centre of the tool in order to maximise the power of the hammer blow.
The height of the fuller gives good visibility to the blade which is made from S1 tool steel. A 16" long handle is designed to keep hands away from the hot steel and is made from high quality hickory with grooving for additional grip.
When purchased the head is not securely fastened to the handle which allows the user to fit it for a left or right handed tool. The handle just needs to be driven in securely.
