Keratex Hoof Putty

Keratex Hoof Putty is a great disinfectant packing tool, great to plug small holes in the hoof. It seals the area so bacteria, mud, dirt and other not wanted item can not enter the area. It can be used for problems such as abscess recovery, hoof separation and punctures.

The product starts out hard in the tin but is more malleable one it is warmed up in your hands........then simply pack it into the hoof.

This is also great for farriers to use as a shock absorber and comfort between items such as lily pads.
